Getting Started
After you find a free parking spot or get dropped off, we will start with sizing up your fins, snorkel, and mask that we provide. If you have your own gear and want to use that, bring it along! Water temperatures range from 76-80 degrees throughout the year, which feels perfect for most people. However, if you tend to get cold and want to bring your own wetsuit top or spring suit, feel free to do so.
Snorkeling Safety Briefing & Departure
Next, we will do a quick safety briefing, get the little ones fitted with life jackets, and share some cool features of the boat before heading out of the harbor. As we make our way up the coast to our North Shore dive spots, enjoy the beautiful scenery while we look for turtles, whales, dolphins, and flying fish, to name a few.

Oahu’s North Shore is famous not only for its thrilling surf but also for its vibrant coral reefs. These underwater ecosystems are rich in marine life, providing a stunning backdrop for Oahu snorkelers and divers. As you swim through the crystal-clear waters, you’ll encounter colorful fish, from delicate butterflyfish to graceful angelfish, thriving among coral formations.
The reefs also serve as a habitat for sea turtles and the occasional Hawaiian monk seal, offering a chance to see these magnificent creatures up close. Ongoing Hawaii reef conservation efforts support the health of the reefs, allowing visitors to view this thriving marine ecosystem.
The North Shore Dive Experience
When we arrive at our dive site, we will anchor the boat, shut the motors off, and get you all ready to enjoy the underwater wonders! The crew is there to handle any frustrations with leaky or foggy masks and to ease any unease you may have.
Getting in and out of the water is a breeze with our solid, purpose-built boarding ladder. If you prefer to stay on the boat while others dive, that’s totally fine too! Sit in the shade and relax with some tunes. If you want to save a little time to visit one of the offshore shark dive spots, we can do that too!
After enjoying all there is to see, we will make our way back, where you can find public restrooms and an outside shower to use.
