Hawaii visitors on North Shore boat tours, Oahu shark tours, North Shore sightseeing tours with Banzai Adventures tour boat off the coast of Oahu.Whether it’s in the morning, afternoon, or evening, there’s never a bad time of day to experience Oahu’s North Shore. Our tours are perfect for the first-timer or experienced boater, and guests won’t have to worry about smelling fuel or engine fumes, as the BANZAI is equipped with clean-burning outboard motors. Despite the speed at which our adventure tours operate, you won’t get wet. Just bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, and, of course, your camera, and enjoy the ride!

We are located at the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor (66-105 Haleiwa Road, Haleiwa, HI 96712)

What kind of boat is BANZAI?
All of our North Shore boat tours on Oahu are done on our 24-foot Zodiac Hurricane 733 with Twin Suzuki DF140 4-stroke outboards.

How many people?
Our Zodiac Hurricane 733 can accommodate a total of 6 guests, including children.

Do you provide transportation?
Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation to or from our guests’ accommodations.
However, there are many options to get from where you are staying to us here in the Haleiwa Boat Harbor. The city of Honolulu operates The Bus with affordable fares.
Along with The Bus, a number of taxi companies and ride-share companies, such as Lyft or Uber, are available to transport you from your accommodations on Oahu to the Haleiwa Ali’i Beach Park area for your North Shore boat tour.

Is Parking free?
Yes! Parking at the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor parking lot is free of charge!
We recommend arriving at least half an hour before your tour departure to ensure a stress-free time finding parking and locating us on-site.

How long do we spend on the boat?
Our North Shore boat tours are approximately 60 minutes

Can I go if I’m pregnant?
If you are pregnant, please confirm with your doctor that you can join us as a guest, before booking your tour package.
We are able to accommodate guests who are up to 7 months pregnant.

What to bring?
We highly recommend that our guests wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from ocean glare, apply appropriate sunscreen liberally, and take any sea-sickness countermeasures before their trip, such as Dramamine pills or anti-motion sickness patches applied behind the ear.
We also recommend bringing your GoPro, a waterproof camera, and/or your phone for pictures and videos!
Make sure they are waterproof or water-resistant, and you have a way to secure them to yourself so they are not dropped in the water.

Do you have a bathroom on board?
Unfortunately, there are no restrooms on board our Zodiac Hurricane.
Please use the restroom before boarding your North Shore boat tour. 
A public restroom is located at Haleiwa Ali’i Beach Park,  just a few minutes walk from us.
Please keep in mind that our tours are approximately 60 minutes long.

If I miss my tour, can I get a refund or pushed back to a later tour?
Unfortunately, we cannot issue a refund if you miss your tour. Please call us at 808-990-7515 immediately if you are unable to make your reservation.

What is the cancellation policy?
We require at least 48 hours in case of a cancelation or change.
You will be charged in full, per person for cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of your tour start time or if you do not show up.
Banzai Adventures is not responsible for airline tickets, car rental costs, third-party transportation fees, taxi fares, and/or any other charges, fees, or penalties that you may incur as a result of any tour cancellation or change.

Can I catch the city bus to Haleiwa from Waikiki?
Yes! Transit time via The Bus is usually less than 3 hours each way. 
You may use Google Maps or the website for The Bus to plan your bus trip from your Waikiki hotel to us at the Haleiwa Boat Harbor. 
You will need to do some walking between bus stops and may need to wait for a bus between arrivals, which may add time to your trip. 
Upon entering the bus, the city of Honolulu accepts cash or a pre-paid Holo card only.
No credit cards or other payment methods are accepted by The Bus.


Do you get wet?
Most of our guests leave their North Shore boat tour “mostly dry”; however,  it depends on the ocean’s conditions or weather.
If there are rough seas or poor weather, we may cancel the tour for the safety of you and our crew.*

Can we smoke on the boat?
Unfortunately, no. All of our boat tours on the North Shore are non-smoking. 
For the comfort and safety of all of our guests, we ask all guests to please refrain from tobacco use while onboard your tour with us.
This includes cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, any vape products, or other smoking products.

Do you offer private cruises?
Yes! We are more than happy to accommodate your party of up to 6 people for a private tour of the North Shore with us.  Please contact us right away for more details.

*All trips are subject to change or may be canceled without notice due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The company will make the final decision and may cancel at any time should the weather conditions be deemed unsafe or unfit to complete the activity. If this occurs, you will be fully refunded.
